Protection Plan

Beautiful furniture, protected against real life.

Warranties cover how furniture is made. Montage protection plans cover what happens after it arrives: the spilled cabernet, the marker that escaped the playroom, the seam that gives out on movie night. Allure offers Montage plans on qualifying purchases so you can live on your furniture, not around it.

About Montage

Montage is a national furniture protection provider whose plans cover accidental damage to furniture during the plan term, typically five years from delivery. Allure Furniture offers Montage plans at the time of purchase on qualifying pieces. Unlike a manufacturer warranty, which covers defects, Montage covers accidents from everyday living, and if a covered issue can't be repaired, the resolution can include replacement of the affected piece.

What's Covered

Coverage depends on the plan purchased and the piece it covers, but Montage plans commonly include:

  • Accidental stains from food, beverages, and human and pet bodily fluids
  • Accidental rips, tears, punctures, and burns
  • Ink, marker, crayon, and cosmetic stains
  • Breakage of frames, springs, and mechanisms from accidental damage
  • Damage to wood finishes: liquid marks, heat marks, chips, gouges, and scratches from a specific incident
  • Component failures on covered motion and adjustable pieces after the manufacturer warranty ends, per plan terms

What's Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear, gradual soiling, and accumulated damage without a specific incident
  • Pet chewing and clawing damage (per most plan terms)
  • Intentional damage, neglect, or abuse
  • Damage from improper cleaning attempts before filing a claim
  • Pieces used commercially
  • Manufacturer defects, which belong to the manufacturer warranty instead

Filing a Claim

1. Report Promptly

Report covered damage to Montage promptly after it happens; plans require reporting within a defined window, typically 30 days of the incident. Don't attempt aggressive cleaning first: incorrect cleaning can void coverage for that stain.

2. File With Montage

Claims are filed directly with Montage online or by phone using your plan documents. You'll describe the incident and provide photos. Keep your delivery paperwork and plan certificate together; you'll need them.

3. Allure Can Help

If you're unsure whether something is covered or how to document it, call us at (925) 951-6263. We'll help you understand the plan and prepare the claim correctly the first time.

4. Resolution

Montage resolves covered claims through professional cleaning, repair, part replacement, or replacement of the affected piece, per the plan terms.

When a Plan Makes Sense

It depends on how you live. Plans earn their cost most reliably on fabric and leather upholstery in homes with kids, pets, or frequent entertaining, and on dining tables that see daily use. On a piece you intend to keep for a decade, a single covered incident typically exceeds the plan's cost. If your household is low-risk, skip it with our blessing: we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense for your situation.
